Kohl & Frisch’s Corporate Philanthropy
Kohl & Frisch’s long-standing commitment to corporate philanthropy is founded on its belief in supporting organizations and causes that help many members of our national and global communities. And we have supported many organizations over the years.
Recently, K&F has made significant charitable donations to two more organizations: the University Health Network (UHN) and the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF).
The UHN encompasses the Toronto General and Toronto Western hospitals, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and The Michener Institute of Education at UHN. Kohl & Frisch’s generous donation was made in support of the Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Team at UHN, and will directly help frontline workers during the pandemic to remain at the forefront of patient care, as they strive to enhance the quality of the services they provide and improve patient care and outcomes. This mandate is clearly aligned with Kohl & Frisch’s mission and the work we do to deliver healthcare and provide the best possible service to patients.
The CRRF is Canada’s leading agency dedicated to the elimination of racism and all forms of racial discrimination in Canadian society. Kohl & Frisch has a diverse workforce and truly believes in the CRRF’s mandate to support and promote the development of effective race relations training, policies and programs. Additionally, the CRRF assists in the development of professional standards and increases public awareness of this very significant and topical issue. Kohl & Frisch’s valuable contribution is helping to support the CRRF’s very important mandate and vision of creating a Canada in which individual, institutional and systemic racism are eliminated.
Kohl & Frisch is very appreciative of the good work that these organizations do and is happy to support their goals in creating better communities, better health, and a better quality of life overall.
