Primary Role of This Position
Reporting directly to the Rx Inventory Manager, the Demand Planning Analyst will work in partnership with Key Accounts, Category Managers, Vendors, and Inventory Analysts, to ensure that a proper flow of inventory is available to meet all internal and customer metrics on fill rate, service levels, and inventory levels.
+ Responsible for accurately forecasting a segment of Kohl & Frisch Front Shop business and ensuring all internal and customer metrics are met or exceeded
+ Support and collaborate with Manufacturer Relations, Key Accounts, and Inventory Analysts to ensure proper inventory is planned to support market changes, including items such as new product launches, formulary changes, backorder management, lead vendor calls, and help facilitate the sales and operations planning process
+ Provide analysis around key customer metrics such as inventory levels as well as fill rate both internally and externally
+ Identify and report on any significant variances between forecasted sales and the organization’s budgets and business plans
+ Prepare and participate in biweekly reviews with suppliers
+ Analyze sales trends and identify the key drivers of sales of key products and molecules
+ Implement any forecast changes resulting from the forecast review
+ Identify alternatives (substitutes) during market shortages for key customers, where applicable
+ Monitor, analyze, and make recommendations to better align internal forecast with customer demand
+ Develop and maintain relationships within customer functional areas; be the key point of contact for any Rx inventory related questions
+ Use both analytical ability and communication skills to solve problems, manage projects, and transitions
Education and Experience
+ College diploma/university degree in a relevant discipline is required
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting/Supply Chain Analysis is required
+ Retail Link and Manhattan ERP planning/forecasting experience is an asset
+ Extensive analytical skills, strong communication skills
+ Strong computer skills: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
+ Customer collaboration experience
+ Strong interpersonal, interdependent partnering skills, collaboration competencies, within and across organizations. Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong business relationships.
